Union Arbresloise

2017 Exhibition

An exhibition of local artists belonging to the painting section of the Union Arbreloise ran from the 1st to the 22nd September 2017 at the Multimedia Library of L'Arbresle, Rhône, France.

23 artists exhibited over a hundred drawings, painting and sculptures. There were two end of year themes; monochrome and recycling, for which we all tried to produce at least one work.

For me, this year became (quite by accident) the year of the horse. Starting from photographs that I took while on vacation, I made a series of drawings and sculptures of horses that culminated in the end of year work Bucephalus, made from recycled materials.
