A joint exhibition between Charly Rollet and myself ran from the 20th November to the 8th December 2018 at the Galerie d'Elena in l'Arbresle, Rhone, France.
This was my first exhibition in a gallery and also the first time that I exhibited with Charly Rollet, a friend and fellow artist whose work I greatly admire. The exhibition was entitled "Serendipity", which means "finding something you were not looking for".
Charly exhibited more than twenty abstract paintings and collages. I exhibited half a dozen scuptures in a variety of materials including wire and papier-maché, wood and metal. Charly's paintings in black and white and my sculptures in papier-maché and metal complemented each other especially well. The exhibition was resolutely contemporary and modern in feel.
